Meusburger expands its range for mould making
Meusburger has expanded its product range in the mould making sector with innovative solutions for its customers. Among other things, the standard parts manufacturer has added two new products in the areas of demoulding elements and slide systems. The new inclined ejector unit, cooled E 3280 enables simple demoulding, even for very large undercuts. The decentralised two-stage ejector E 1850 is suitable for various applications thanks to its two functions.
Simple and flexible: the new inclined ejector unit
The inclined ejector unit E 3280 from Meusburger enables simple demoulding, even for very large undercuts with up to 70 mm. Its integrated fountain ensures efficient cooling all the way to the cavity and helps to reduce cycle times. The 180° rotatable support allows the cooling medium to be supplied flexibly either in front of or behind the ejector set, enabling customers to work with two different variants using the same product. In addition, the unit is equipped with a sealing shim with high-temperature O-ring seals, DLC-coated guiding rails, and a self-lubricating guide bush. Customers benefit from a high flow rate thanks to the fountain with large cross section and numerous connection options via the common G 1/8″ threads. The use of a copper-tin alloy in the gliding elements also ensures excellent gliding properties.
One product, two functions: the new two-stage ejector
The decentralised two-stage ejector E 1850 from Meusburger can be used both as a leading-type two-stage ejector and as a latch lock. Thanks to the various sizes and fastening options, it is suitable for many different applications, for small or large moulds as well as inside or outside of the mould. Two significant advantages of the product are its switching cycle without play and the additional locking after the first stroke. The two-stage ejector is available from Meusburger in installation sizes from 14 to 50 mm.
Single nozzle easyFILL EH 4010
Meusburger has expanded its product range to include the single nozzle easyFILL EH 4010 for selected applications. It has been developed as a cost-effective alternative to the single nozzle smartFILL EH 4000 and is available with two flow channel diameters and in four lengths respectively.
Cost-effective alternative
The nozzle features a modular design and uses many components from the existing smartFILL nozzle series. The combination with new, cost-effective components has led to considerable cost savings. The one-piece, coated nozzle tip allows problem-free processing of most plastics, including technical ones. There are only restrictions for filled plastics. The single nozzle easyFILL is heated with just one control zone. The heat output distribution in the nozzle heater was adapted accordingly so that a second heater in the area of the nozzle housing and the sprue bush is not necessary. Different nozzle heads and contact radii in the sprue bush allow an individual selection of the nozzle to suit the injection situation on the item or in the mould and the connection to the machine nozzle.
Continuous availability
The single nozzle easyFILL can be selected and ordered around the clock in the Meusburger shop. Once the nozzle has been selected, the corresponding 3D CAD data including the installation space can be downloaded immediately. A large number of possible file formats are available for this purpose. The nozzle is then delivered within just two working days. The modular design of the nozzle allows individual nozzle components to be replaced at any time, so that repairs are efficient and economical.
